Every vase is carved by hand, so the lines and rings differ from piece to piece. Fill it with dried stems, or let it stand alone as a small sculpture.
On material
Ceramic, shaped slowly.
Khurja, in Uttar Pradesh, is one of India's long-standing pottery towns. Each Imber vase is carved by hand, so the cuts and the rings around the neck vary slightly from piece to piece. We treat that variation as the craft, not a flaw.
