The 15 inch surahi is tall and commanding — a gradual taper from a wide base to a long pronounced neck, the elegant bottle form that has been part of Indian craft heritage for centuries.

Both share the same four-band etching vocabulary: geometric cross-hatch at the neck, alternating triangles on the shoulder, large botanical mehrab arches filling the central body, and chevron borders at the lower body.
