About

Bonjour! Welcome to Elements of Decor. I hope you find pleasure and substance in reading my blog about Art, Decor, Sustainability and Multiculture.

I passionately believe that Art, Travel, and Sustainability can enrich our lives, broaden our horizons, and protect our future. French, with a husband from New Zealand and Australia, and 3 wonderful kids, we have lived in 4 continents, currently in New York, and constantly exploring the world…

My past career in the Performing Arts in Europe, my passion for History of Art while living in Paris, France and my relocating to Australia, Asia and the U.S. have all led to a new passion: creative interior decor. I am passionate about transforming interiors with unique pieces and combinations. My choices of elements of decor are influenced by the numerous cultural styles, decor and design concepts that I have been exposed to all over the world.

I am currently studying an Interior Design degree at a local School of Interior Design and while I am learning new skills every day, I would like to share with you my finds and thoughts. I will also discuss the current overwhelming need to produce distinctive designs for a clientele in search of measurable eco-accountability. Through my international travel, I strive to connect with local cultures and find products with global appeal.

I would love to hear from you to read about what inspires your day with any creative endeavours or just to say hi!
